Layering the composite material carefully and incrementally, means the subtlety of real tooth enamel can be emulated. The paste-like texture of the bonding composites allows us to re-create the correct shape for your tooth, so the result will look natural and organic with the shape of your other teeth.

With crowns and veneers, some degree of preparation is required to the tooth in question. This is because both of these restorations are made in the lab and then placed over the top of the front surface of a tooth (veneers) and over the whole of a tooth (crown), respectively. Composite bonding on the other hand, simply requires the composite resin to be bonded directly to the tooth.

With composite bonding, you can eat, drink and brush normally straight away. There are minimal restrictions post-treatment as there are with other dental treatments. You may wish to have the restorations repolished every so often to maintain the lustre and shine of the composite bonding.
